Mystery Cutter Clears A Path, July 2, 2020
Someone (later identified as Alex Amendola, forester for the Regional Water Authority), cut a large oak tree blocking the trail in the West River Open Space area in June 2020. Note that the "bamboo" mentioned in the article is Japanese knotweed, which resembles bamboo, but is shorter and has a fragile stem, unlike the tough wood of bamboo.
