Wildflowers at West Rock

Wood anemone, April 2012

As you hike and bicycle at West Rock from spring to fall, there are numerous opportunities to observe wildflowers in bloom. By park regulations and common sense, enjoy flowers with your eyes and camera only. Don't pick them; leave them for others to enjoy and to reseed themselves to allow for additional flowers in the following year.
These are flowers I have photographed at West Rock. I identified them (as best I could) using the website of the Connecticut Botanical Society: https://www.ct-botanical-society.org/Plants. If the website asks you to sign in, simply click on "Flowers by Color" on the left side. I have found a few flowers at the park not listed on this website, possibly because they are not native flowers, or not wildflowers.
They are presented in order by the month of the year in which they were taken.
